laniakea is hawaiian for "immense heaven", and is the name of our supercluster, home to over 100,000 other galaxies including our milky way. the typeface combines three components: the crescent, the star, and the vacuum (hollow rectangle) to create each glyph in a dynamically extraterrestrial style. because of these qualities, it pairs well with a slightly italic caption font like as seen here with Adobe Clean.
