overview

> after joining my school's college bowl team, i was tasked to create a modern logo for the beloved food science masters program. though well renowned within the community, the look of the program's social media was outdated. using the old brand assets, i helped redesign the face of the program and assisted the social media manager with instagram content.

logo redesign

> the original logo is unique but used an all caps generic font. which blended in when used at two different point sizes. The imagery is relevant but small and hard to detect. the redesigned logo enhanced both issues dynamically.

college bowl 2026

> March 2026, Chapman Food Science Program hosted the Pacific Southwest Region’s College Bowl Competition, a buzzer-based trivia event organized by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). As the resident graphic designer, I was commissioned to create materials for College Bowl, including an orange-themed logo, exclusive stickers, and a photobooth strip! Our team showed out in our custom Food Science polos and t-shirts.
